TomTom has released the little brother of the Go750 Live in South Africa and it is now available!
In June this year TomTom became the first GPS manufacturer to announce the introduction of LIVE traffic services in South Africa. Now the company is extending its GPS services with the introduction of the new GO 650 LIVE.
Some of the LIVE services available on the device will be TomTom’s High Definition Traffic (HD Traffic) service which is able to give drivers access to constantly updated traffic information every two minutes anywhere in South Africa. The Go 650 has also has a 4.3” display and up-to-date maps of South Africa.
Similar to the Go 750 LIVE, the 650 sports pre-installed safety camera locations, five-day weather forecasts and advanced lane guidance. It also has Bluetooth so drivers can make and receive calls while driving.
TomTom have confirmed that the Go 650 Live will include a one year subscription to the LIVE services and a subscription to LIVE services will cost R499 from the second year.
