Asus upgrades the ROG G73 with nVidia GTX
Asus, the leading developer of notebooks, has launched the replacement to the extremely popular G73JH-TZ008Z in the South African market. The NEW Asus Republic of Gamers 17.3 inch G73JW has been upgraded with the latest NVIDIA mobile Fermi graphics cards. It already has great specs included like the Quad Core i7 CPU, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, two hard drives of 500GB each, Blu-ray ROM optical drive and an 8 cell battery, but it is the 3D capability that is attracting the attention of the serious gaming community.
For the first time, Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) are using the new NVIDIA GTX 460M graphics engine that comes with the huge 1.5 GB of GDDR5 memory and these machines are going to need it. For the G53 and G73 will be running the NVIDIA GTX 460M which is great for rendering 3D visuals, which indicates that the G73 notebooks will be offering the user 3D gaming.

bought U31SD recently and must say it’s wofdlrnuel machine.I tried COD MW2, Crisis 2, Dirt 3 so far on this notebook and everything was working without problems very cool. When you play games it can produce a lot of heat but it always lowers till 30-60s when exit the game.Video editing so far i tried only for 720p and again no lag. Editing very smooth, response very fast.Only thing i can say is that I couldn’t invest my money better. Finally a notebook i’m satisfied with.
