ASUS introduced its G73JH-TZ008Z gaming laptop right at the start of this year, but unfortunately getting it locally as been as difficult as finding a Bafana Bafana soccer jersey with a Protea logo. That’s now changed however, as the laptop will be arriving at the beggining of June in bigger shipments and is already available right now for advance orders (at WebAntics.co.za, at least) for the not-so-crazy price of R20,541.59 incl. That will get you a 17.3″ HD 1920×1080 display, a Core i7 1.6Hz Quad Processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 2 x 500GB hard drives, 1GB of ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 graphics, and a Blu-Ray ROM/DVD-RW Drive, among other more standard offerings — all in a suitably awe-inspiring, 3.85 kg package.
